Dear Recipient,

The importance of the digital market is reflected in the volume of advertising budgets. For 2011, a growth of 16% is predicted. Digital has already revolutionized a couple of branches, now the recruiting business is in the focus: Mobile and Social Recruiting are finding their ways into HR departments.

The 25th "Medientage München" demonstrated once again the significant value of digital in the media mix: This year, there were more than 50 panels dealing with various topics concerning digital business and the digital media landscape. In this context, our partner Ralf Jahns has moderated the SoLoMo-Panel (PDF) on October 20, where the benefits of location-based services and Mobile Social Media were discussed. Since July 2011 Ralf-Gordon Jahns has been heading the mobile unit at aquarius. Ralf has over 15 years of consulting experience in the media and telecommunication sector which he gained during his work for CapGemini Consulting.

In this newsletter, you will find articles about Google's jump into the analog world, the current value of e-mail communication and the economical paradigm shift towards the east.

Enjoy reading!

pic Why an e-mail-adress is still worth more than a Facebook-like
'The 2010 U.S. Digital Year in Review', a report of the market researchers at ComScore, assumes that innovative social messaging platforms like Facebook or Twitter will dominate our online behaviour – so does mobile communication.
