Rainer Wiedmann

Rainer Wiedmann founded the aquarius group in 2004, which specializes in strategy development and implementation of digital business models. aquarius serves its multinational clients out of it’s offices in Munich and Hongkong. Prior to that Rainer founded in 1996 the intl digital-agency-network “argonauten” with his partner GREY. He managed to grow this network until 2004 to 10 offices in 6 countries when he sold his shares to WPP, the new owner of GREY.
From 1992 to 1996 he established and managed the department of Bavaria Video, Bavaria interactive, Bavaria Digital and tv mobil.

Rainer holds a master of information technology from Stuttgart university and a MBA from University of St. Gallen.

Marc Schmitt

Marc Schmitt is the partner and co-founder of aquarius solutions, member of the aquarius group. His team creates ways to generate traffic and increase conversion on multi-channel platforms.

Prior to aquarius solutions, Marc was a free-lance consultant for digital marketing and brand co-operation. He can fall back on an extensive network of international professionals from his time in England and China. His international background ensures a dynamic and creative perspective and approach.

Gareth Locke

Gareth manages the business unit aquarius consulting since April 2010.
After completing his business studies in France and in England Gareth began his career in 1999 as Consultant in the Accenture Online centre of Excellence in London. In 2000 he managed the first successful B2B Online Auctions for large FTSE clients and took part in the launch of the biggest European B2B Marketplace for the FMCG industry.

As of 2005 Gareth worked for Loyalty Parnter GmbH, the company behind PAYBACK, Germany largest Loyalty Program. As project Manager for the in house consultancy emnos, he was in charge of implementing customer centric assortment strategies for Carreofur in France (Customer Insight). Then Gareth was in charge of integrating several partners from the telecommunications, banking and internet industry into the PAYBACK Poland program. Gareth was also involved over time in the development of the PAYBACK website from an information and service website to one of the leading German eCommerce platforms.

Gareth has dual citizenship, French and English and lives in Munich since 2003.

Marc Ritter

Marc Ritter leads the business unit aquarius sales as a principal. This business unit leverages the digital potential in our clients´ sales processes. Ritter looks back on a 15 years long sales career serving digital enterproses and in digital projects. In 1995, he founded the first online-offer of the biggest German quality paper Sueddeutsche Zeitung. He was in charge for changing MSN Germany from online-service to portal and founded MSN Shopping with the first deals with Ebay and Amazon in Germany. During his time at Yahoo!, Ritter led international negotiation teams in deals with the later Vodafone, Siemens Mobile, Vilkswagen and Deutsche Bank. Marc Ritter is founder of the sales training portal Sportsella.com and was in charge for worldwide CRM at Schoerghuber Group.

Marc Ritter holds lectures and is a speaker at universities and private academies.

Management: Patrick Wolf

Patrick Wolf

Patrick Wolf is co-founder and Managing Director of aquarius campaign. He joined the aquarius group in 2009.

His background is the classical dialogue marketing. Patrick gained his experience from a number of high-profile dialogue marketing agencies, among others he was a unit leader at Lehr & Brose. Since 2000, he has been concentrating on digital marketing and he held the position of branch manager at Dialog links interactive in Berlin followed by starting up a branch office for Framfab Deutschland AG (now LBi Germany AG) in Munich. From 2005 to 2008 he was a member of the Board of Directors and Managing Director.

Patrick Wolf holds a degree in Direct Marketing (BA) and brings 15 years of divers marketing experience into the group.
